Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of this website and any work Stonegate Epoxy Floors of Coral Terrace does for you. When you use the site, ask for an estimate or book a job with us, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work with us.

"We," "us" and "our" mean Stonegate Epoxy Floors of Coral Terrace and our crew. "You" means the homeowner, property owner or business that visits the site or hires us. If a signed estimate or contract for your job says something different from these terms, the signed document controls for that job.

What we do

We're a flooring contractor in Coral Terrace, FL, working on concrete floors in homes and businesses in Coral Terrace and the cities around it. Our work includes epoxy, polyaspartic and metallic coatings, garage floors, polished and stained concrete, terrazzo, sealing, grinding and surface prep, resurfacing and overlays, self-leveling, pool deck coatings and stripping old floor finishes. You'll find the full list on our home page.

The site describes our work in general terms so you know what to expect. It doesn't promise a result for your floor, because every slab is different and the right system depends on what we find on site.

Estimates and pricing

Our quotes are free, they're done on site, and they come with no obligation. We look at the floor in person because the price depends on things we can only judge there, like the size of the area, the shape the concrete is in, cracks or old coatings that have to come off, moisture in the slab and the system you choose.

Your estimate covers what we can see before work starts. Sometimes grinding or stripping a floor turns up damage, moisture or old coatings that weren't visible. If that changes the work or the price, we'll explain what we found and get your approval before we go on, and we won't add charges you haven't agreed to.

An estimate is good for the period written on it. After that, material costs may have changed, so we may need to update it.

Scheduling and cancellation

We set a start date with you once you accept the estimate. Weather, humidity, slab moisture and the cure time a coating needs can all move the schedule, so we'll tell you as early as we can if a date has to shift.

You agree to clear the work area, give us access and keep people, pets and vehicles off the floor until we tell you it's ready. If we arrive and can't start because the space isn't ready, we'll reschedule with you.

If you need to cancel or move your date, call us at (305) 786-6170 as soon as you can. If we've already ordered materials or held the date for your job, your estimate or contract says what, if anything, you owe for that.

Payment

Your estimate or contract sets out the price, any deposit, the payment dates and the payment methods we accept. Unless it says otherwise, final payment is due when the work is complete.

If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's paid. You may also be responsible for reasonable costs of collecting an unpaid balance, to the extent Florida law allows.

Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover

We're fully licensed and insured, and our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something about the work we did isn't right, call us and we'll come look at it and work with you to fix it.

The guarantee doesn't cover normal wear, or damage from impacts, dragging heavy equipment, harsh chemicals, using the floor before it has cured, or skipping the care instructions we give you. It also doesn't cover moisture or movement in the slab that couldn't be found before work began. Concrete can crack under a finished floor when the slab moves, and a coating can't stop that.

Coated and polished floors can be slippery when wet or oily. We'll talk with you about texture options, but once the job is done you're responsible for keeping the floor clean and dry in use.

Apart from our satisfaction guarantee and any written warranty in your contract, we make no other promises about our work or this website, to the extent Florida law allows. Product warranties come from the maker of the coating or material, on the maker's terms.

Limits on our liability

To the extent Florida law allows, we're not responsible for indirect or follow-on losses tied to our work or to your use of this website, such as lost business, lost rental income or time without use of your garage. Our total responsibility for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.

Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that Florida law doesn't allow a business to limit, such as for gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Using this website

We work to keep the information here accurate, but it's general, it may change without notice and it doesn't replace an on-site look at your floor. The text, photos and design belong to Stonegate Epoxy Floors of Coral Terrace, so please don't copy them without our permission.

Links to other websites are there for your convenience, and we're not responsible for what those sites say or do.

If we disagree about something

If you're unhappy with anything, call us first at (305) 786-6170. Most problems get sorted out on a phone call or a visit back to the job.

If we can't settle it that way, you and we agree to try mediation in good faith before either side files a lawsuit. If mediation doesn't resolve it, either side can go to court as described below.

Florida law applies

These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any lawsuit about these terms or our work will be brought in the state courts in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and you and we agree to that location.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one that applies when you use the site or book a job. A change doesn't affect a job you've already signed for unless we both agree to it in writing.

If a court finds any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
